A very effective exercise if taught and used correctly. ⁣⁣

Many athletes won’t be able to properly perform a back squat initially. It could be due to several issues that we would address with that athlete with a couple of those being.⁣
⁣
1. Hip and Ankle ROM⁣
2. Too much Lumbar Flexion ⁣
3. Motor Control Dysfunction⁣
⁣
Here are some of the other variations of squats we may use if that’s the case.⁣⁣

Accessory Exercise - Banded Face Pulls⁣ ⁣ Grea Accessory Exercise - Banded Face Pulls⁣

Great exercise to add into a volleyball players program. ⁣
⁣
Why?⁣
⁣
Volleyball players are primarily front side dominant athletes and in order to stay balanced need to build lots of strength posteriorly. By incorporating a banded face pull into the programs we are able to strengthen up the back of their shoulders and upper back which helps keep their shoulders healthier in both the off-season and in-season when it matters the most.

Every single athlete that comes through our door gets a training program that is based off their goals and the demands of their sport. All of our coaches keep track of their progress and adjust the program as needed. ⁣⁣

We want to be completely transparent with every athlete/client that comes in and the first step to doing that is making sure the program is helping them in the ways they need to improve.⁣

New Facility Setup! ⁣ ⁣ We need to make an ann New Facility Setup! ⁣

We need to make an announcement that I know most of our clients already know but during the Covid-19 Pandemic we made the decision to move out of the Rossford Soccer Centre and back into our original facility. ⁣
⁣
As much as we liked our space at the dome we love our newly renovated training facility that is going to work perfect with all of the guidelines that the state has for us to follow. ⁣
